Poojan Procedure
– After taking bath in Yamuna, worship Lord Yamraj and Dhanvantri. Offer diya made up of flour in name of Lord Yamraj and keep one on the main door of your house. This diya is known as Yamrajka diya.
– This diya is refilled with oil at night. Keep this diya in the south direction and chant मृत्युना पाशहस्तेन कालेन भार्यया सह त्रयोदश्यां दीपदानात् सूर्यजः प्रीयतामिति।।
– After this, worship Goddess Laxmi with set customs and procedures.
